Question about digital tv?

Tracy Huesso: both. buy a freeview box with the digital tick on iti think its about £25-£30x...Show more

Lucrecia Laurito: Both. The signal will no longer be broadcast.Get a set top box and it'll be fine - especially if you don't get a good reception now.

Adelle Weight: You wont be able to pick up a thing. I'm afraid to say it, but it's an end of an era. It's sad really.

Jonathan Schlussel: the sound may go out too due to no connectivity

Season Confalone: If you have cable or satellite, nothing will change. It's only the over-the-air signals that are going digital. In this case, you have to have a digital TV tuner (converter box) to get the digital TV signals off the air. These will be broadcast at different frequencies than the existing channels and your non-digital TV can't decode the digital video and audio signals. If you do get the converter, keep in mind that you may also need a different antenna, too. The different frequencies of the digi! tal TV signals aren't picked up as well with existing over-the-air antennas. Joesph Smithmyer: everything, unplug the cable from your t.v that's what it will look like if you don't get a cable box

Jerald Florence: Without a converter box you will get nothing...probably. Meanwhile, your digital TVs are getting free over the air widescreen HD TV. Why complain?I say probably, because there are reports that some analog TV will still be allowed to be transmitted. We will see...

Eulah Hugill: If your tv has cable or satelite nothing will go out. The only thing that is changing is that antennas will not work anymore without a digital converter box.

Antone Bual: next month that tv is kaput ova nomo..capish
