Wilfred Santacruce: Employment records are kept in an ISO certified companies' for a priod of 5 years. Though, some companies destroys the hard records, they place them in micro film. If you are referring to reference check on employment, you might have some problem, but to verify if indeed you work for such and such company even if the company is no longer in operations, they can still check it through your Social Security records.Good luck...Show more
