Little trafficSledding & skatingHome made scooters.Sandlot ballStreet Races.Playing in the river and on the railroads (Gave our parents apoplexy)Aggravating neighbors on Halloween.Bikes, if one could afford them.Soap box racing. (Home made toy cars for one) Pushhhhhhhhhhhhhh!Rolling barrel hoops.Having someone push us while curled up inside auto tires.Attaching tin cans to our shoe heels, about 20 of us clopping around town like horses.Getting half killed by dads when our heels were pulled off our shoes.Hunting junk for a few pennies or so.Aggravating policemen at night until they pursued us. We had stretched rope across an alley tied to garbage ! cans. We knew where the rope was. They didn't.God, we'd still be in jail if it was today.Parents had fun making kids. 10 or so.Not much money but hell, nuthin' to spend it on anyway.I'm laughing through this....Show more
