Sharolyn Claybourn: BS, also commonly called I Doubt It is a great game which features bluffing.Any number of players (from 3 to about 11) can play with the entire deck being dealt out. Some players may get an extra card, which is ok.The player to the immediate left of the dealer starts by laying up to four cards face down in the center of the table, declaring X number of Twos. Where X is the number of cards he laid down. The cards played do not actually have to be Twos. The next player in turn, would then do the same thing with Threes and so on from player to player around the table through Kings. The player who plays next after the player playing Kings would start again with Twos. After a player has laid down his play, any other player can then Doubt the player or say BS. At this point, the cards laid down are turned over. If they are indeed the cards indicated (such as four twos) the player who called I doubt it must take these cards and any other previous play! ed cards still on the table. However, if the player was bluffing and the cards are other than what was declared, the player who played them must take all the cards currently played to the table. The first player to be rid of all their cards is the winner....Show more
Marvel Mcaulay: This game, also known as 'cheat', is very popular and fun.You need at least 3 people to play. When you have all your players, divide the pack into how many players there are (take out the jokers). The aim of the game is to get rid of all your cards first. You do this by taking turns to put cards down. The first person (usually one person left of the dealer) puts down card(s) FACE DOWN and says what they put down. (Don't let anyone else see the cards you put down, especially if you cheat!) These cards could be anything, but you can put down up to four at once, and they have to allegedly be the same, e.g. 4 kings. So you can't out down one 8 and one 9 and say 'one 8 and one 9' The next perso! n has to put down a card(s) which are either the same or one u! p or on down. So they could put down a king or an ace or a queen. However, if they do not have one of these cards, they can cheat - they can put down, say, one 9 and call it a queen, but they can be caught - e.g. another player has 4 queen, so therefore they could not have put down a queen. The player who accused them must yell 'bullshit' or 'cheat' and then the culprit must take the pile of cards in the middle, therefore increasing the amount of their cards. The person who caught the cheater then puts down his own cards. If no-one catches you cheating during your turn you have gotten away with it! When you have put down all your cards and have none left, you win, but the others continue playing. This game can go on for ages. It helps to have an EXCELLENT poker face. Have fun!...Show more
Adelle Weight: This is the game from the movie "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" if you've seen it. I found this website that can explain it better than I can: http://www.pagat.com/beati! ng/cheat.html.
