Philosophy and Art help please?

Andre Winegar: As the subject is so broad, I would recommend starting with general information. Begin philosophy with some chronological histories of philosophy. Pick out the areas that interest you and check in the bibliography for more specialized works. I would start with the Greeks and work forward, as they to me seem the easiest and most universal. For both philosophy and art biographies are good, as they both teach and build interest.

Indira Wassell: It depends on what kind of philosophy you want to read. Its a very broad topic. I would recommend Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, and Camus, but that's just me. Marcel Duchamp is a good abstract artist. Performance art is also pretty broad. If you want something philosophical I recommend Waiting for Godot by Beckett.
